Content Moderation & Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 19 June 2026
X Stream (RMTL Extensive) hosts video uploaded by registered creators and streams it to viewers. To keep the platform lawful and safe, all content and conduct is subject to this policy. By uploading to or using X Stream you agree to these rules.
1. Prohibited content (zero tolerance)
The following may not be uploaded, streamed, linked or promoted. Violations result in immediate removal and may result in account termination and reporting to authorities:
- Adult / sexually explicit content — pornography, nudity for sexual gratification, or sexual services.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — reported immediately to the South African Police Service and relevant authorities; account permanently banned.
- Pirated / infringing content — any video, audio, image or software the uploader does not own or have a licence/right to distribute.
- Illegal goods or services — drugs, weapons, stolen goods, counterfeit items.
- Hate speech, harassment, incitement to violence, or extremist/terrorist content.
- Graphic violence or gore intended to shock, and content promoting self-harm.
- Fraud, scams, malware, or deceptive/misleading content.
- Any content prohibited under South African law (incl. the Films and Publications Act).
2. Uploader obligations
Before publishing, every creator must:
- Attest ownership/rights — confirm they own or are licensed to distribute the content.
- Hold an authenticated, verified account — no anonymous uploads.
- Classify their content appropriately (e.g. age-suitability tags).
3. How we moderate
- Account gating: uploads are restricted to registered, authenticated accounts.
- Reactive review: every video page carries a Report function; reported content is reviewed by our moderation team, typically within 24–48 hours.
- Enforcement ladder: removal → warning → temporary suspension → permanent ban, depending on severity. CSAM and clear illegality skip straight to ban and reporting.
4. Copyright / takedown
Rights holders can request removal by emailing admin@zahosting.africa with: the infringing URL, proof of ownership, and contact details. We action valid notices promptly, remove the content, and apply strikes to repeat-infringing accounts (3 strikes = termination).
5. Reporting & contact
- Report content: the in-app Report button on any video, or admin@zahosting.africa.
- Moderation / abuse / law-enforcement contact: admin@zahosting.africa.
6. Changes
We may update this policy to meet legal or payment-network requirements. Material changes are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
